Ingredients:

8 1 1 6oz can 1 T 1 tsp 1 15oz can 1 15oz can 2 8oz cans   1 can

slices of bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces onion, chopped tomato paste Dijon mustard hot pepper sauce kidney beans, drained kidney beans, drained crushed pineapple, drained     Surprise ingredient Cola (Coke, Pepsi, etc.)

Procedure:

1.  Pre-heat oven to 375ºF.
2.  Spray 13" x 9" casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
3.  Cook bacon and onion over medium-high heat in la large skillet until bacon is crispy.
4.  Drain fat; set aside.
5.  Combine cola, tomato paste, mustard and hot pepper sauce in a large bowl.
6.  Mix well.
7.  Add beans, pineapple, and bacon mixture to cola mixture.
8.  Mix well.
9.  Transfer to prepared dish.
10.  Bake, uncovered, 20-25 minutes or until beans are hot and bubbly.

Yields: 4 - 6 servings
