Sour Cream Caramel Cake

Ingredients:
1 c

butter
sugar
eggs
flour
salt
baking soda
sour cream
vanilla
Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Grease and flour 3 9" round cake pans (or one 9" x 13").
  3. Cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.
  6. Alternately add flour mixture and sour cream to the batter.
  7. Stir in vanilla.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-35 min. (I baked mine for 30.)
  9. Bake 45 min. if using rectangular pan.
  10. Let cool in pans for 15 min., then turn on to racks to cool completely.
Ice with Easy Caramel Icing.
