The Ladybugs' Recipes
Coconut Blizzard Cake

Ingredients:
1 box
2 c
4 drops
2/3 c
1 container
white cake mix
shredded coconut
red food coloring
seedless strawberry preserves
(16 oz) whipped topping
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Prepare cake mix according to directions.
Stir in 1/2 cup coconut and food coloring.
Pour into 2 greased 8" round cake pans.
Bake and cool.
Divide each layer into two layers horizontally. (I use dental floss.)
Spread 1/3 cup of the preserves on one of the divided layer bottoms.
Add the top to it.
Top that with 1/2 cup of the whipped topping.
Add bottom half of the next layer.
Top with remaining preserves.
Add top of this layer.
Coat cake with remaining whipped topping and coconut.
A very moist cake!
