Corn Chowder

Ingredients:
2 1 can 1 can 2 - 3 c 2
c 2 c 1/2 c 1/2 c 1/2 c 1 t |
potatoes
-- cut into bite-sized pieces and cooked (boiled) whole kernel corn, drained creamed corn hot water milk diced
cooked ham chopped celery chopped onion chopped carrots parsley salt and pepper to taste |
Procedure:
- In a large pot, cook celery, onions, and carrots in a small amount of butter for about 10 minutes.
- Add hot water.
- Then add parsley, ham, both cans of corn, salt, and pepper.
- Cook only to blend the flavors, then add milk and cooked potatoes.
- Heat and serve.
As with most soups, this one is better the 2nd day.
