(ours is salted, but I use margarine anyway) sugar egg cold mashed pumpkin self raising flour or plain flour

Procedure:
Pre-heat oven to 200ºC (400ºF)
Cream butter and sugar, add egg.
I add cinnamon and vanilla here.
Add pumpkin
Add flour, sultana and walnuts and mix well.
I put baking paper on the tray, original says to grease the tray (cookie sheet).
Drop batter in large spoonful heaps onto tray.
I put a pinch of brown sugar on the top of each one.
Bake for about 10 minutes (last lot took nearly 15 minutes!).
When they have cooled a little, gently pull them apart.
