1. Combine all but the orange slices in a large pan.
2. Slowly bring to boiling.
3. Cover and
simmer 20 minutes.
4. Remove spices.
Serve in warmed mugs with an orange slice in each (may stud with cloves!) Or pour into a punch bowl and float orange slices.
I have also made this in an electric coffee urn - putting the spices in the basket and letting it run through its normal
‘brew’ cycle! Just remove the basket and keep warm and serve directly from the urn.
About 32 1/2 cup servings.
