1. Sauté and drain both the beef and sausage.
2. Chop the cheese into chunks.
3. Put all three
ingredients into a microwave-proof dish and heat until the cheese is almost melted. Stir to blend well.
4. Spread
about a tablespoonful of the mixture (a bit more or less ... use your own judgment) on each slice of bread.
Do one of the following:
Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400ºF for 20 minutes and serve immediately.
Place on a cookie sheet and cover to keep for 24 hours before baking.
OR
Place each
on a cookie sheet that will fit in your freezer. When frozen, layer in plastic bags and return to freezer.
