1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Grease and flour a 9" x 14" x 2" baking pan.
3. Cream together butter
and sugar with electric mixer.
4. Add egg yolks, milk and vanilla and mix well.
5. Thoroughly melt chocolate
in double boiler over slowly boiling water until smooth.
6. Slowly pour chocolate into mixture while stirring.

Mix well.
8. Mix dry ingredients and sift into creamed mixture a little at a time, stirring to maintain smoothness.
9. Add chopped nuts and mix well.
10. Gently fold stiffly beaten egg whites into batter using a large spoon
until completely blended.
11. Pour into greased and floured 9x14x2 inch baking pan.
12. Bake for 35 to 40
minutes - or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
13. Cool.
Frost if desired and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
This is incredibly good, but definitely not a chewy brownie!
