1. Preheat oven to 300ºF.
2. Mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup together in a saucepan.

Heat to boiling and boil for 5 minutes.
4. Remove from head and add cream of tartar and baking soda. It will foam
up.
5. Put the popcorn and nuts on a cookie sheet.
6. Pour the sugar mixture over.
7. Bake for
about 20 minutes, stirring once.
8. Remove from the oven, cool, and break apart.
