1. Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2. Grease and flour an Angel food cake pan.
3. Beat until stiff the
egg whites, salt and cream of tartar.
4. Beat in the sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time.
5. Sift three times
the flour and second measurement of sugar.
6. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture, gradually, folding lightly
after each addition.
7. Add vanilla.
8. Pour into cake pan.
9. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or
until done.
