The Ladybugs' Recipes

No Peek Stew

Ingredients:

beef, cubed
potatoes, diced (bite sized)
carrots, diced
stalk celery, diced
Minute tapioca
sugar
salt
pepper
onion, quartered 
(14.5oz) whole tomatoes, drained
Packaged frozen mixed vegetables may be used instead of fresh.
Procedure:

1.  Mix first four ingredients together and put in baking dish or crock pot.
2.  Mix next four ingredents together and sprinkle over meat and vegetable mix
3.  Arrange onions and tomatoes on top of stew mixture and cover very tightly. I use foil then casserole cover.
4.  Bake in oven at 250 for 6 hours and what ever you do. Do not peak!

(Smaller amounts may need less cooking time)
If using a crock pot I always start it on high and turn it to low after about 4 hours.
