Cheesy Sausage Quiche

Ingredients:

pork sausage links
onion, thinly sliced
green pepper, chopped
sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
flour
deep dish pie crust shell
eggs, beaten
evaporated milk
parsley flakes
seasoned salt
garlic salt
pepper
Procedure:
 
1.  Preheat oven to 375ºF.
2.  Fry sausage until cooked.
3.  Remove sausage from skillet and drain on a paper towel.
4.  Reserve 2 T of the fat.
5.  Saute onion and green pepper in the reserved fat for 2 - 3 minutes.
6.  Slice sausage.
7.  Combine cheese and flour in a bowl.
8.  Stir in sausage slices, green pepper and onion.
9.  Spread in pie crust shell.
10.  Mix remaining ingredients and pour into the shell over other ingredients.
11.  Bake on a cookie sheet for 35 - 40 minutes, or until browned and filling is set.

Yields: 6 servings
