The Ladybugs' Recipes

Yorkshire Pudding
From: Lesley
Ingredients:
4oz
1
1/2 pt
plain flour (all purpose)
egg
1/2 pt milk/water
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to about 200ºC (380ºF)
2.  Put flour in bowl.
3.  Make a well in the centre.
4.  Put the egg into that well.
5.  Add milk.
6.  Beat until all the lumps are out.
7.  Let stand for a while in a cool place.
8.  Mixture should be like thickish custard.
9.  Heat up some fat, about 2-4 tablespoons in a pan in the oven.
10.  When the fat is smoking add the batter mixture and cook until it rises and puffs.

I can’t make big ones, they go flat on me, so I make small ones in muffin tins.
This is the recipe I use for pancakes as well.
