Cranberry Surprise

Ingredients:

1/2 c

cranberries (washed and dried)
sugar
chopped walnuts
large eggs
granulated sugar
all-purpose flour
melted butter
melted margarine
Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 325° F.
  2. Spread cranberries in the bottom of a 10" pie plate or 11" tart pan.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar and chopped walnuts.
  4. Beat together eggs and sugar.
  5. Add flour, butter and margarine and blend well.
  6. Pour over the cranberries mixture.
  7. Bake for about one hour or until nicely browned.
  8. If the cranberries are frozen, add 5-10 minutes to the baking time.

Serve warm with light cream, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream.
