The Ladybugs' Recipes

Hot Sesame Wafers

Ingredients:
1/2 c
1/2 c
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
2 T
2 T
2 T
2 - 3 T
oat bran cereal (the kind that needs to be cooked!)
flour
baking powder
salt
ground red pepper
margarine
light corn syrup
toasted sesame seeds
skim milk
Procedure:
 
1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Combine all ingredients except sesame seeds and skim milk.
3.  Mix until like coarse crumbs.
4.  Stir in the sesame seeds.
5.  Gradually add and stir in just enough milk to form dough into a ball.
6.  Roll on lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch thickness.
7.  Cut with a 2-inch cutter.
8.  Bake for 10 - 12 minutes, or until firm.
