Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Lightly butter or spray a 13" x 9" baking dish.
- Spread crescent roll dough into the pan being careful to seal any perforations in the dough
Do this by
pinching the dough together with wet fingers where needed.
- Leave small ridge around the edge of the dough.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over the dough.
- On the stove top bring butter & brown sugar to a boil.
- Pour over dough.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Let melt, then spread with the back of a spoon.
- Place pan in refrigerator to cool until chocolate is set.
- Slice into small bars.
These are very decadent so I usually cut these into small squares.
For a pretty presentation place squares into paper
mini muffin baking cups.
This recipe packs on the calories but everyone always wants the recipe when I serve it.
