Lemon Crisp Cookies

Ingredients:
3/4 c
1 c
2 pkg

2 c
3/4 tsp
1/2 tsp
shortening
sugar *
lemon instant pudding
eggs, slightly beaten
flour
baking soda
salt
* (1/2 cup sugar also works - if you like a more tart flavor)
Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Combine ingredients and chill thoroughly.
  3. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Watch closely as they are delicate and burn easily.
