Easy Caramel Icing

Ingredients:
2 c
1 c
1/2 c
1/2 tsp
4 c
packed brown sugar
butter
evaporated milk
vanilla
powdered sugar
Procedure:
  1. In a large, heavy saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and milk.
  2. Cook over low heat until butter melts.
  3. Increase heat to medium, and cook for two more minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in vanilla.
  6. Whisk in powdered sugar, a cup at a time until smooth.
  7. Let cool slightly before frosting cooled cake.
