Double-Berry Diet Scones

Ingredients:
1/2 c

all-purpose flour
whole wheat flour
baking powder
finely shredded orange peel
margarine
fresh or frozen blueberries
dried cranberries
quick-cooking rolled oats
egg whites
orange juice
honey
nonstick spray coating
skim or low-fat milk
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 400ºF.
2.  Combine flours, baking powder and orange peel.
3.  Cut in margarine till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4.  Stir berries and oats into flour mixture.
5.  Add egg whites, orange juice and honey; mix well. (Dough will be sticky.)
6.  Spray baking sheet with nonstick coating.
7.  With floured hands pat dough into 7" circle on baking sheet.
8.  Cut into twelve wedges, separating them about 1/4" apart.
9.  Brush with milk.
10.  Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.

Serve warm.
