The Ladybugs' Recipes

Corn Chowder

Ingredients:

1 can
1 can
2 - 3 c
2 c
2 c
1/2 c
1/2 c
1/2 c
1 t
 
potatoes -- cut into bite-sized pieces and cooked (boiled)
whole kernel corn, drained
creamed corn
hot water
milk
diced cooked ham
chopped celery
chopped onion
chopped carrots
parsley
salt and pepper to taste
Procedure:
  1. In a large pot, cook celery, onions, and carrots in a small amount of butter for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add hot water.
  3. Then add parsley, ham, both cans of corn, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook only to blend the flavors, then add milk and cooked potatoes.
  5. Heat and serve.

As with most soups, this one is better the 2nd day.
