Cabbage Soup

Ingredients:

3 - 4 T
medium head cabbage, cut up kinda chunky
onion, chopped
sticks of celery, chopped
water
Velveeta cheese (more if desired)
instant mashed potatoes (for thickening)
Procedure:
  1. Placed chopped vegetables in large pot.
  2. Add water.
  3. Cover and simmer till vegetables are done.
  4. Drain.
  5. Cover vegetables with milk.
  6. Add Velveeta cheese.
  7. Stir till cheese is melted.
  8. Do not boil, just get it hot.
  9. If you like thicker soup, add 3 - 4 T instant mashed potatoes.

You could also add something like browned sausage or ham or chicken.
