Pork Rub

Ingredients:
3 tbsp
2 tsp
2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
2
brown sugar
garlic powder
chili powder
black pepper
oregano
salt
pork tenderloin

Procedure:

Rub Mix:  

  1. Combine seasonings.
  2. Coat pork evenly with the rub.
  3. Refrigerate 30 minutes or up to 3 hours for stronger flavor.
Grill Method:  
  1. Lightly grease grill rack.
  2. Preheat grill to medium heat or use indirect heat method.
  3. Grill 30-55 minutes or until pork registers 160° F with meat thermometer, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove from grill, cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting into thing slices.
Oven Method:  
    Preheat oven to 325° F.
  1. Bake covered until registers 160° F on meat thermometer.
  2. Optional may put stuffing around tenderloin.
  3. Uncover last hour or so to have stuffing and loan brown.
  4. If there is grease drain off before serving.
Serves 6 This rub works great on pork roasts also. These can be grilled or baked in the oven. Dressing….I use bread stuffing but corn bread stuffing would work also.
