Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Salt and pepper chops and brown in a minimum of fat (I now use Pam).
- Grease an oven proof casserole and place apples in it.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over apples and dot with butter.
- Add browned chops and pour sherry over all.
- Bake for 45 minutes.

My DF Pat gave me this recipe. These are her words: "The first time I made this for just two people, so I cut the number
of chops and apples. We FOUGHT over the apples. Now I plan on 2 chops per person and lots of apples. I increase the sherry
to 1/3 cup. I like the leftover apples if there are any."
My comment: I have added a can of yams around edge of chops during last 20 minutes of cooking time and basted with
juices from dish about every 5 minutes. Great addition!
