Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients:
1 box
8 slices

1 c
spaghetti
bacon (or more)
eggs
Parmesan cheese
Procedure:
  1. Boil the spaghetti al dente.
  2. Cook bacon in a frying pan ... NOT the micro ... till crispy.
  3. Crumble bacon and put back in the bacon fat.
  4. Keep warm.
  5. Beat the eggs with a fork.
  6. When the pasta is ready, drain and immediately put it back into the pan.
  7. Add the beaten eggs to the hot pasta and toss to cook them through.
       (YES ... the heat from the pasta cooks the egg well. You do not have to put this back on the stove.)
  8. Add the Parmesan cheese and toss again.
  9. Lastly add the bacon ... fat and all ... and toss once more.
Serve with a crispy salad and garlic bread.
