The Ladybugs' Recipes

Easy Brunswick Stew

From:  Bumblebee
Ingredients:
1 lb
2

2
1/2 - 3/4
2
ground beef, browned and drained
large cans of crushed tomatoes
large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
(NOTE -- the recipe says you can use canned chicken, but I didn’t)
cans of Castleberry’s BBQ Pork
bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce
cans creamed corn
Procedure:
  1. Put it all in a big pot and simmer on low heat for about 30 to 45 minutes, just long enough to "marry" the flavors.
  2. You can add a little water if it seems too thick.
  3. And that’s it!
  4. Serve with soup crackers, garlic toast, or cornbread...whichever you prefer...and a salad.
  5. Oh my goodness, is it ever good, especially for such a simple meal.
  6. It makes a HUGE amount, but can be frozen and eaten later.
