Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:
2 lbs

hash browns
Cheddar cheese, shredded
cooked bacon or sausage, broken in pieces
onion, chopped
or...
dehydrated minced onion
eggs
milk
margarine or butter
salt
pepper
Procedure:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Spray cake pan with vegetable oil.
  3. Add potatoes.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over potatoes.
  5. Dot with butter.
  6. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over top.
  7. Bake for 1 hour.
  8. If hash browns are frozen may need to bake longer.
  9. Test to see if done: Poke fork in middle of pan to check if hot.
Note: This dish is NOT for low calorie diets. You can reduce some items (cheese, butter, use skim milk, meat) to cut back on the calories.
