Breakfast Apple Schmapple

Ingredients:
1 can
1/3 c
 
3/4 c
1/4 c
1 can
 
apple pie filling *
brown sugar
cinnamon & nutmeg, to taste
water
chopped pecans
refrigerated “Grands” butter-style biscuits
vanilla yogurt (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together pie filling, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Microwave till mixture is hot.
  5. Then pour into a greased pie pan and sprinkle with pecans.
  6. Top with biscuits.
  7. Bake for approx 30 min, or until biscuits are lightly browned.

* I use a spoon to chop the apples into smaller pieces

To Serve:
As each serving is dipped, “flip” to have apples on the top for a pretty presentation. Top with a dollop of vanilla yogurt and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
