Beer Bread

Ingredients:

4 T
3 c
4 T
12 oz. bottle of beer, room temperature
sugar
self rising flour
butter, melted
Procedure:
 
1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Pour beer into a Pyrex pitcher and allow to de-fizz for a few minutes.
3.  Add sugar and stir.
4   Add flour and stir until blended.
5.  Dough will appear a bit lumpy.
6.  Put dough in a greased loaf pan.
7.  Set aside 15 minutes to rise.
8.  Pour melted butter over all.
9.  Bake for one hour.
10.  Cool on a rack for 10 minutes before slicing.
