1. Preheat oven to temp suggested on Pumkin Pie can.
2. Run pecans, brown sugar and butter through food
processor or blender until they're a slightly coarse paste.
3. Carefully spread in the bottom of unbaked pie shell.
4. Combine rest of ingredients and pour into pie shell.
5. Gently lay a few whole pecans on top of filling
and bake as usual following temperature and baking time from other pumpkin pie recipes (Libbey's Famous Pumpkin Pie) for instance.
