The Ladybugs' Recipes

Broccol Stuffing Bake

Ingredients:

2 c
1/2 c
2 tsp
1 can
1 can
1 "soup can"

10 oz pkgs. of frozen broccoli
herbed seasoned stuffing mix
butter
instant minced onion (optional)
sliced water chestnuts
favorite cream soup (can be chicken, broccoli, celery etc.)
melted Velveeta
eggs, beaten
Salt and Pepper to individual tastes
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Break broccoli apart.
3.  Melt butter.
4.  In large bowl mix 1 and 1/2 cup stuffing mix with melted butter.
5.  Blend in drained water chestnuts, soup, Velveeta, seasonings, eggs and broccoli.
6.  Pour into large casserole or 9" x 13" baking dish.
7.  Sprinkle with 1/2 cup stuffing mix.
8.  Bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
9.  Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
