The Ladybugs' Recipes

Strawberry / Ice-cream Triffle

Ingredients:
4 1/2 or 5 c
1 pkg
1 c
1 pint
1 pkg
1 1/2 c
1 pkg
angel food cake (or pound cake) cubes
(3 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
cold milk
vanilla ice cream
(3 oz) strawberry jello
boiling water
(10 oz) frozen strawberry slices
Procedure:

1.  Put cake pieces in bottom of bowl (triffle bowl is pretty!)
2.  Blend together the pudding mix and milk just until mixed.
3.  Add the ice cream.
4.  Blend together at low speed.
5.  Pour over cake and stir to mix.
6.  Refrigerate till firm.
7.  Mix the jello with the boiling water until it is thoroughly dissolved.
8.  Add the frozen strawberry slices.
9.  Stir until it begins to thicken.
10.  Pour over pudding/cake mixture.
11.  Refrigerate and let set till firm.

Serve with Whipped cream or Cool whip
