The Ladybugs' Recipes

Peach Trifle

Ingredients:
1 small 
  
1  can
4 T

1 lg box
 
pound cake
seedless raspberry jam
(29 oz) sliced peaches (drained)
sherry or 1 Tbs. sherry flavoring (optional)
peach juice
La Creme or Cool Whip
vanilla pudding (not instant)
sliced almonds
Procedure:

1.  Prepare pudding according to package directions and cool.
2.  Slice the pound cake & spread 1/2 the slices with the jam - top with other halves.
3.  Cut each "sandwich" into quarters & arrange some over bottom of dish.
4.  Drain peaches and arrange around sides of dish.
5.  Combine sherry and peach juice and pour over pound cake.
6.  Cover with a layer of pudding.
7.  Repeat layers.
8.  Spoon La Creme over top, sprinkle with almonds.
9.  Refrigerate. 

Serve & enjoy!!

Looks so pretty in a Trifle dish!

Can be made with homemade custard, ladyfingers, etc.....whatever you want, but this is simple and so good!
