Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients:

raisins (soak in water - 1st thing to do while you mix everything)
Imperial Margarine (no substitute)
firmly packed brown sugar
granulated Sugar
eggs
vanilla
baking soda
all-purpose flour
cinnamon
salt (optional)
Quaker Oats-quick or old-fashioned
pineapple, drained, blended in blender
coarsely chopped walnuts
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Beat together margarine & sugars until creamy.
3.  Add eggs & vanilla; beat well.
4.  Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon & salt; mix well.
5.  Stir in oats, pineapple, raisins & walnuts; mix well.
6.  Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheet.
7.  Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
8.  Cool 1 minute (with a lot o' will power).

Yields:  About 4 dozen.
