The Ladybugs' Recipes

Frostbite Cookies

Ingredients:
3/4 c
3 T
1/2 c
3/4 c

1-1/2 c
1 1/4 c

Sun-Maid raisins
orange juice
butter or margarine, softened
granulated sugar
large egg
grated orange peel
all-purpose flour
baking soda
old fashioned or quick oats
white chocolate baking chips
vegetable oil
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Combine raisins and orange juice.
3.  Cover and microwave on high for 1 minute.
4.  Let stand.
5.  Beat butter and sugar in large bowl.
6.  Add egg and orange peel; mix well.
7.  Stir in flour and baking soda.
8.  Mix in oats and raisin juice mixture.
9.  Grease baking sheet.
10.  Drop small spoonfuls of dough on sheet leaving 2 inches between.
11.  Bake 10-12 minutes.
12.  Cool cookies.
13.  Microwave white baking chips and oil on medium power about 2 minutes.
14.  Stir chips until melted.
15.  Dip cookies on one end.
16.  Refrigerate on wax paper about 10-15 minutes.

Yields: About 6 dozen.
