The Ladybugs' Recipes

Chocolate-Chunk Cookies (ww)

Ingredients:

devil's food cake mix, unprepared
reduced-calorie margarine, softened
water
large egg whites
large egg
semisweet chocolate candy, chunks *
cooking spray (5 one second sprays)
Procedure:

*I didn't have chunks so I used chips, which worked just fine.

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.
3.  Combine cake mix, margarine, water, egg whites and egg in a large mixing bowl.
4.  Beat on low speed until blended and smooth.
5.  Fold in chocolate chunks.
6.  Drop batter by heaping tablespoons, 2 inches apart, onto prepared baking sheet.
7.  Bake until puffed up and dry to the touch, about 10 to 12 minutes.
8.  Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Yield: 2 dozen cookies

1 cookie per serving.
