From:  Janet
Ingredients:
8 - 10 qt
2 c
2 sticks
1/2 c
1 tsp
1 lb
popped corn (Air popped works great)
brown sugar
margarine
white syrup
baking soda
salted peanuts (optional)
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 250ºF.
2.  Mix brown sugar, margarine and syrup in a large pan and cook for 5 minutes.
3.  Add baking soda and stir.
4.  Pour over popped corn and mix well.
5.  Pour into a cake or jelly-roll pan.
6.  Bake for a good half hour.
7.  Stir Occasionally.

The way I would check to see if I wanted to take it out(I like it crispy) was to take some out of the oven like a spoon full and let it cool.....blow on it...lol.....if it was not sticky then it was done!
