Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:
1/2 c
1/2 c
1 1/2 c
1 tsp
1/4 c
shortening
(1 stick) margarine
confectioners sugar
vanilla
cream
Procedure:

1.  Cream together the shortening and margarine.
2.  Add the confectioners sugar and vanilla.
3.  Add the cream, a little at a time, creaming between additions.
4.  Beat by hand (or using hand beaters or slow speed) until very fluffy. Usually about 4 minutes.

This is a wonderful light icing!
