1. Mix well using either a blender or food processor; or chop onion and dill very fine and mix by hand.
Line an appropriate sized bowl with clear plastic wrap.
3. Press the mixture into the bowl.
4. Chill over
5. Turn out on a plate that is big enough that at least 1" of plate will show all the way around.
May pretty it up by placing a layer of thinly sliced pimento stuffed olives on surface of mound.
You may bypass steps 2 through 5 and just put the spread into a pretty bowl and frost it there.
