Diced Apple Cake

Ingredients:

1/2 - 1 c
diced apples
sugar
Wesson Oil
eggs, beaten
all-purpose flour
salt
baking soda
cinnamon
nutmeg
allspice
pecans
Topping:
1/2 c
2 T
1/4 c
1/4 tsp
1 tsp
sugar
margarine
buttermilk
baking soda
vanilla
Procedure:

1.  Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2.  Peel and dice apples.
3.  Pour sugar over apples and let stand for 10 minutes.
4.  Add oil and eggs to apple mixture.
5.  Stir dry ingredients together and add to the apple mixture.
6.  Mix using a wooden spoon.
7.  Add pecans.
8.  Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
9.  Bake for 1 hour.

Topping:
1.  Mix sugar, margarine, buttermilk, and baking soda.
2.  Boil for 4 minutes.
3.  Remove from heat and add vanilla.
4.  Pour topping on cake while cake is hot.
