The Ladybugs' Recipes

Tuna and Chickpea Salad

Ingredients:
1 c 
1 can
1 sm
1/4 c
1 tsp

chickpeas * 
tuna ( I used solid white in water)
onion ( I used red onion)
olive oil
red wine vinegar
chopped Italian parsley
salt
ground pepper
Thick, toasted slices of hearty bread (I used peasant bread)

Procedure:

* You can use dried/soaked/cooked/cool, or canned. I used canned organic. (less salt).

1.  Put chick peas in a bowl, and add tuna, onion, oil vinegar and parsley.
2.  Toss.
3.  Add salt and pepper to taste.
4.  Serve on toasted bread. My DF said it's also good over lettuce.

Simple and healthy.
